Biography

Georgeanne G Moss is a candidate for Board position on the Board of Advisors to the Child Health Institute (CHINJ), Georgeann, also known as Georgie, is a member of the Gould family, who have long supported CHINJ. Being a daughter of a pediatrician and child psychiatrist, Dr. Kenneth S. Gould and Audrey Gould, issues related to the health and well-being of children have always been important to her. Georgie's father was proud to be an adjunct associate professor at Robert Wood Johnson Medical School, which began the long relationship with CHINJ. Audrey and Kenneth Gould founded and proudly sponsored the Gould lecture series which has brought internationally acclaimed scientists to speak at CHINJ. Georgie has honored their legacy by sponsoring the Any Given Child program of the Kennedy Center in Trenton NJ. As a board member on the National Committee for the Performing Arts of the Kennedy Center, she has seen firsthand how the arts can enrich the lives of children.  She hopes to bring this level of caring to the mission of the CHINJ.

Professional

Georgeanne Gould Moss of the Gould Group of Wells Fargo Advisors, Managing Director-Investment Officer, has been in the securities industry since 1988.  She earned her B.A. from Barnard College, Columbia University, and a Juris Doctor from Benjamin Cardozo School of Law in Manhattan. Though no longer practicing, she began her legal career as an associate at a Connecticut law firm and then worked as a senior attorney specializing in litigation, securities compliance and derivative products at a major brokerage firm. Early on, Georgeanne served as a legal intern to the Governor of New York.

Personal

Georgeanne and her husband, Peter, reside in Princeton, NJ and have two grown sons, one who is currently working in the Gould Group. Georgie has a range of pro-bono experience where she participated locally, including serving as an Investment Committee Member for the Princeton Public Library.  Georgeanne previously served as a board member of the Princeton Education Foundation (PEF). The PEF serves as a bridge between the Princeton community and schools, encouraging philanthropy to enhance public education for students at all levels. Georgeanne currently serves on the board of the National Committee for the Performing Arts of the John F Kennedy Center (NCPA) in Washington, DC. The center supports education programs and creative endeavors that reach millions of children and arts educators each year across the country. The NCPA comprises business, cultural, and political leaders who are supporters of the performing arts.
