Biography

Dr. Vikram Bhise, MD, is Professor of Pediatrics and Neurology at Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School and serves as Division Chief of Child Neurology and Neurodevelopmental Disabilities. He received his BA from Drew University and his MD from UMDNJ–Robert Wood Johnson Medical School, followed by residency training in Pediatrics at Maimonides Medical Center. He completed fellowships in Child Neurology at Montefiore Medical Center, Clinical Neurophysiology at SUNY Downstate, and Neuroimmunology at SUNY Stony Brook. Dr. Bhise’s clinical and academic work focuses on pediatric neurological disorders, particularly multiple sclerosis, epilepsy, and other neuroimmunologic diseases. He has received research funding from the National Multiple Sclerosis Society and other foundations and has contributed extensively to the literature on pediatric MS, epilepsy, and neuroimmunology.
